Very big and loud she calls from within.
The longing to breathe deeply, to stretch out my arms to the side, for space. To New Zealand.
Throughout my journey I have never felt it as much as there: the magic of vastness.
Ilva and I have driven thousands of miles by car, bus, train and ferries - from Auckland City to Steward Island and back up to Wellington - but there were very few moments when the car felt small to me. Sometimes it was the bigger places that narrowed my thoughts without me really realizing it.
And then the next stop was often one that let me breathe again ♥️
Hobbiton / Mordor / Edoras / Glentanner
And these are the places I am now looking for here. Without car noise. Without big crowds. And vastness all around me.
Do you know such places? Do you have any recommendations?
